This was our first time coming here. Upon arrival there were a huge amount of people waiting. But the wait ended up being only 30 minutes and it was well worth the wait! Had the eggs Florentine Benedict and added avocado, also swapped out potato for the haystack. And had country fried steak. Both were fire!! A healthy portion that left us feeling super satisfied. Everything was amazing! Will definitely be coming here again and highly recommend!

Excellent home cooked meals. The Chicken fried steak was really tender & the home-made blueberry muffins was outrageously delicious! Had the Linguisa today, which was also excellent.

Beautiful restaurant great service and food was excellent. Can be a bit pricey but food and service made it worth it. Decent variety in menu offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. They offer a typical breakfast menu. For lunch menu Sandwiches (hot or cold), soup, salads hamburgers. Dinner they offer dishes such as spaghetti & meatballs, chicken fried steak or chicken plate, steak & even fish and chips. It's about $20 per person (if you round up, unless adding a drink) on average breakfast might cost slightly less. There's tables seating outdoor patio area available. Our waitress was a joy and very attentive

The Pantry in Santa Maria is a delightful spot with a charming rustic farmhouse vibe. I recently enjoyed breakfast there with my wife, and it was a great experience. I had the all-meat omelette, packed with protein and perfectly cooked—just the way I like it. My wife loved her French toast, complemented by extra crispy bacon that was simply delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, making our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for a cozy breakfast outing!

We tried the Pantry for the first time and were not disappointed. All day breakfast is my kind of place. We both got the Pantry omelette and was very tasty. The side of fruit was fresh and juicy. The service was very friendly and the food came out quickly. They also make their Arnold Palmer just right. If you’re in Santa Maria, looking for something good, get on down to the Pantry.

Small cute place but does have outdoor patio. The food is the star of the show, obviously. It is absolutely delicious. We tried pancakes, potatoes, eggs Benedict, biscuits and gravy, and a skillet….everything was perfect. The sauce for eggs Benedict was the best sauce I have ever had in my life, an I’ve tried them everywhere. I was told most things are home made. We’re not from this area, we were just passing through but honestly , next time we go to Pismo, we WILL make the stop, it’s worth it.

In town visiting my Son in Santa Maria. Came here for breakfast highly recommended. We ordered the 4 eggs veggie omelet with added ham and sausage. The omelet was very delicious 😋. I highly recommend. It also came with 2 pancakes. I change it to pumpkin pancake. The atmosphere was great and the coffee is very good. The only complaints I have is more attentive to refilling my coffee. 3 refills, I have to ask 3 times. Definitely enjoy the breakfast. 🥞🍳☕️ #Breakfast #Omelet #Coffee #Pancakes #SantaMaria

We had a wonderful breakfast experience here. Everything arrived at our table hot and tasted incredibly fresh. The portions were generous and satisfied everyone in our group. I was particularly impressed by the beautiful presentation of the avocado rose on top of the scramble. It was such a nice touch to start the morning. We will definitely be back soon.

We have dined at this iconic local restaurant many times over the years in our travels, but only now have we written a review of this great home style restaurant. It is a cozy, comfortable dining establishment. Styled like a Denny's and black bear dinner, but brightly decorated. If you dine here for breakfast or lunch you will find many local diners here. Their loyalty cannot be denied. Also we have seen work crews, law enforcement and truckers stop here. Though truckers will have a hard time parking. It is the congeniality, friendliness of the staff and management and especially the home cooking that creates the return customers like us. We still travel quite a bit, as my job takes me all over the United States and I am also allowed to take my spouse. As for the cooking on this Saturday we got there in the afternoon. We really wanted their famous clam chowder, but it is only available on Fridays and Mondays. I was able to talk to the Manager (her name was Mo) a wonderful lady, I explained to her that we travel over 300miles just to eat at the Pantry and have their wonderful food, and that we had missed Friday clam chowder night, and we were driving to San Diego today. She said, I can get you bowls. No problem. That was so gracious and nice of her. So what is the difference between "the Pantry" recipe for clam chowder and anybody else. We have tried so many, from Fort Bragg, Monterey, Half Moon Bay, Eureka down to San Diego and the epicenter of clam chowder in California Pismo Beach. The Pantry recipe is top 5 in our opinion. Made from scratch every weekend with real cream. In our opinion, a must for quality taste and a thick texture. The clams were plentiful, as well as the potatoes, celery and bits of onion. This is a real treat. The clam chowder in Bodega Bay, right there by the ocean and commercial fishing boats, just cannot compare. Spiced just right, thick and hearty and so tasty. The bowls of clam chowder were a meal in themselves with a piece of garl
